This site is dedicated to the memory of Maureen Edward
Maureen Edward was born 2nd December 1947. She is much loved and will always be remembered by her family, friends and all who met Maureen, she was an incredible lady, beautiful inside and out, fun, very loving, thoughtful, strong, determined and above all so so brave. She fought her illness in everyway she could, at each stage she faced she would adapt to with difficulty at times but Jim (her devoted husband) would always find a way to make things easier for her. She was an amazing Mother to Louise and Kelly, along with being a fantastic Nanny to her 4 Grandchildren, Joseph, Erin, Archie and Harry, she adored spending time with all her family and will be missed immensely. Heaven has certainly gained a beautiful Angel.

When God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be

You danced, you sang, you knew how to party, you knew how to throw the best parties and celebrations and you knew how to share laughter and enjoy yourself. You dared to do what others sometimes were afraid to and always believed in trying. You were determined and will always be the voice in my head pushing me to do better!
